Art Talk and Opening Reception: “Still Beauty: Scenes from an American Farm” by photographer Matt Hankel
Join us as we celebrate the opening of new art exhibition at the Atkins-Johnson Farm and Museum. "Still Beauty: Scenes from an American Farm" is a new photography exhibit that highlights the work of local artist Matt Hankel. With his eye for lines and framing, Hankel will discuss his work as an artist and his experience creating this new exhibition. Visitors will enjoy free refreshments and the opportunity to be some of the first to view the exhibition in this special after-hours kick-off event. The artist will be available throughout the reception for Q&A. Works of art featured in the exhibit will be for public sale and a portion of the proceeds go to the preservation of the Atkins-Johnson Farm and Museum.
