Of course with the nicer weather comes spring cleaning too.  We here at CCHS are hosting a Volunteer Work Day on April 28 from 10am-3pm to help us get the cabin ready for the summer season and to help with some much needed organization in the archives.  There will be a variety of different tasks including:  moving items, basic cleaning (dusting, sweeping, etc.), labeling, documenting, organizing, and filing.  If you would like to hang out with fellow history buffs for a few hours and get a peek at some of the archives, we would love to have you join us.  Wear clothes you don't mind getting dusty and comfortable shoes and bring your favorite pair of work gloves too.
