A Sons of Confederate Veterans chapter is arranging the ceremony this year.

Confederate Memorial Day Program:

  • 10:00 a.m. Chapel-Joseph Shelby Camp 191 meeting
  • 10:30 a.m. Chapel-William Clarke Quantrill meeting
  • 11:30 a.m. Chapel-Confederate Home Chapter 203, UDC meeting
  • 12:00 p.m. Bring your own lunch. Bottled water and cold drinks for sale
  • 12:45 p.m. Line up for parade to the cemetery

Memorial Day Service:

  • 1:00 p.m. Parade enters cemetery led by Sam Stanton, Hughes Camp 641, Commander of the
    Color Guard, and the Elliott Scouts
  • 1:05 p.m. Color Guard presents colors, pledges, salute, and charges
  • 1:08 p.m. Pledge to the American Flag
