CWRTWM November 2021 Annual Membership Meeting

Program:  Lane Smith: “The Trial of Jefferson Davis”

Lane is Davis’ defense attorney as the U.S. Government puts him on trial.

Parking is available in the lot owned by Abundant Life Church on 23rd Street just west of Noland Road.  Take the sidewalk to Noland and turn left (north) to the antebellum home owned by Perry and Melanie Johnson.  FACE MASKS ARE REQUESTED.

The Silver Heart Inn is also called the Stone-Gamble House.  It was built about 1856 and was formerly located on South Main Street, one block away.  It was the home of Napoleon Bonaparte Stone called “Homeland.”

In addition to the program and refreshments, we will also have a short business meeting with the election of officers and board members.  You may also pay dues for 2022.  Family dues are $35, Single dues are $25, and asubscription to the Border Star newsletter is $10.  The bi-monthly Border Star is included with dues.  We will not have a December 2021 membership meeting or virtual meeting.  We look forward to presenting Zoom speakers in 2022 until we find a suitable meeting location.
