Program: Alisha Cole, Historical Consultant - “Clara Barton”
June speaker Alisha Cole is a professional museum consultant, a social historian especially of Women's History, and writer. Her B.A. is from Stephens College and has an Interdisciplinary Degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Missouri.
For those who would like to join us for our June Picnic, please come at 6:00 p.m. The Round Table will provide bottled water and members are asked to bring a dish to share, a serving implement, and their own plate and fork. The meeting will start at 7:00.
We are returning to In person meeting at the Village Heights Community of Christ Fellowship Hall. This was our pre-COVID meeting place located just off 24 Highway and east of Highway 291 about five blocks. Turn north on Farview when you see the Hardee’s restaurant. The church is located at the fork of the street, and there is plenty of parking on the east side of the building. Masks are no longer required in Independence, but you are welcome to wear one if you wish.
