Fort D Historic Site is an original earthwork fort dating from 1861 located at 920 Fort Street, off Sprigg Street, four blocks south of MO Route 74. First observed after the end of the Civil War, Memorial Day honors the memory of U.S. soldiers who have died in military service. Local reenactors will honor the memory of veterans past and present.
